Tickets to Fun Town

If you’ve ever heard the recurring sound of a “Mom, I’m bored!”, you are not alone. It’s enough to make your toes curl, like nails on a chalkboard. Then it’s the immediate scramble to try to find something for your child to do so that you don’t have to hear it again. I’ve come up with a couple of different tactics to help curb the “Mom, I’m bored.” and they have worked, but my favorite is my most recent creation- Train Tickets to Fun Town. This printable includes:

  • Instructions for use
  • 6 prefilled activity tickets
  • 12 blank activity tickets
  • and a list of activity ideas

All you have to do is print on cardstock, fill out blank activities, cut, laminate (optional, to keep from getting destroyed), and put in a pocket or envelope.

I'm a 30 year old stay at home mom of 4. I have been homeschooling for about 2 years now, and am a 2nd generation homeschooler. My oldest 2 children attended public school before we started homeschooling. I am a compulsive organizer and cleaner. I HATE clutter and crumbs! I also love to craft and come up with fun ideas to do as a family! Before staying at home I ran a daycare, then was the bar manager of a members only club. So not only do I have a background with children, besides my own, but I have a background with childhood education and a background in business and financial management.
